Permeable boundaries between areas for lounging, dining and drinking
are delineated by large-scale relief panels and vertical batten
screens, which echo the architectural language of the space. In the
bar area, a black granite counter anchors the space and provides a
focal point for guests seated on striped banquettes, boucle armchairs
or tufted leather loungers—all of which are grouped in various
combinations.
The adjacent dining area features
checkerboard-upholstered chairs that play off the black, gray, and
white floor tiles laid in a geometric pattern. Custom cafe tables with
beveled oak tops and maple-toned leather banquettes balance the
grayscale elements, while Brightliner Sloane Armchairs—a previous
collaborative design by Stellar Works and AvroKO that became a
permanent collection—enhance the overall palette.
The Third
Floor’s roof terrace also nods to Portman, with colours and prints
across the soft furnishings lifted from a photo of the architect on a
San Francisco doorstep in the 1970s. The custom banquettes surround a
row of fire pits that are perfect for huddling around on a chilly
evening. Both outside and in, The Third Floor provides multiple
modernist-influenced spaces for visitors and San Franciscans to drink,
dine and unwind.

定制咖啡桌配有斜边橡木桌面，枫糖色调皮革卡座平衡了空间的灰调元素，而 Brightliner Sloane
扶手椅——这是 Stellar Works 与 AvroKO 早前的合作设计，现已纳入永久系列——则为整体色调增添了亮点。
The Third Floor 的屋顶露台同样向 Portman 致意，软装饰品上的色彩与图案提取自一
张建筑师1970年代在旧金山一户门阶上的照片。定制卡座环绕着一排火炉，尤其适合在微凉的夜晚围坐取暖。
无论室内室外，The Third Floor 都设有多处体现现代主义风格的空间，供访客与社区居民小酌、用餐与放松。
A harmonious interplay of geometry, texture, and materiality defines
this intimate dining space, designed by New York-based AvroKO. The
studio has blended textured fabrics, curved lines, and natural
materials such as oak, walnut and stone to soften the hotel’s
brutalist architecture—while highlighting its majesty.
